PARQUE BIBLIOTECA BELÉN
De estilo vanguardista, esta edificación fue diseñada por el reconocido arquitecto japonés Hiroshi Naito y construida por la Alcaldía de Medellín; contiene tres amplios espacios públicos que inspiran tranquilidad, con énfasis en los árboles, el agua y la gente. Ofrece, además, salas de lectura, colecciones bibliográficas, salones para talleres, auditorios cerrados y al aire libre, salas de exposiciones, ludotecas, centros de desarrollo empresarial zonal (Cedezo), computadores de uso libre con conexión a Internet banda ancha, cafeterías, papelerías, locales comerciales, espacio público, zonas verdes y recreativas. Se ubica en Belén, uno de los barrios más tradicionales de Medellín. Al igual que los otros cuatro parques biblioteca con los que cuenta la ciudad, éste es símbolo de la renovación social y la transformación física de la capital antioqueña.

BELÉN PARK AND LIBRARY
Avant Garde in its style, this Park and Library, designed by world-renown Japanese architect Hiroshi Naito, was constructed by the Mayor's Office of the city of Medellín. The site consisting of three main areas inspiring and inviting to reflexion and focusing on vegetation, water, and people, is located in Belén, a neighborhood of long-standing tradition. The library itself offers bibliographical collections, workshop rooms, indoor and outdoor auditoriums, exhibit rooms, recreation areas, an Area Entrepreneurial Center or Cedezo, free-use computers with broad-band Internet access, cafeterias, stationery stores, general business stores, public areas, and greenspace and recreational areas. The complex, along with the other four Park and Libraries conveniently located throughout the city, is a symbol of the renewed social change and physical transformation the city has gone through in the past few years.
