PEQUEÑO TEATRO
Declarado Patrimonio Cultural de Medellín, tiene como sede una bella casona de estilo republicano, en pleno centro histórico de la ciudad, una de las últimas edificaciones de este estilo que quedan en Medellín. Desde el 12 de febrero de 1975, los medellinenses pueden apreciar sus montajes, entre los que se destaca A la diestra de Dios Padre, de Tomás Carrasquilla, escritor que da nombre a su sala principal: Teatro Don Tomás Carrasquilla. Promueve un novedoso sistema de financiación denominado “entrada libre y aporte voluntario”.

PEQUEÑO TEATRO
The theatre, Cultural Heritage of Medellín, is headquartered in a beautiful old Republican-style house, one of a few still standing, located right in the middle of the historic center of the city. The theatre company has been delighting the people of Medellín since February 12, 1975, with plays staging local lore and folklore by famous Colombian playwrights like Tomás Carrasquilla. The theatre's main hall, Teatro Don Tomás Carrasquilla, is named in honor of this prolific writer from Antioquia. The theatre finances itself with a novel “free admission/voluntary contribution” system.
