PLAZUELA DE SAN IGNACIO
Epicentro de importantes acontecimientos históricos de Medellín, por ser una de las plazas más antiguas de la ciudad, hace parte del complejo arquitectónico constituido por el Edificio de San Ignacio, con su Paraninfo, la iglesia y el Claustro de San Ignacio. En esta plazoleta es permanente la actividad comercial, cultural y recreativa, en un ambiente enmarcado por sus majestuosas ceibas centenarias.
SAN IGNACIO SQUARE
Being one of the city's oldest squares, the San Ignacio Square has been central to Medellín's historical life. The square is flanked by hostorical buildings such as the San Ignacio Building including its Paraninfo or Grand Hall, and the San Ignacio Church and Cloister. The Square, framed by its centuries-old ceiba (silk cotton) trees, is a center for business, cultural, and recreational activities.
